Heritage

The Church recently celebrated it's 140th anniversary during a wonderful weekend in November (2015), the theme was "Heritage & Mission – Yesterday, Today and Forever".
We had lots of people come through the doors, people who had been involved in the life of the church or one of the groups over the years – eg. Boys Brigade and Girl's Brigade, some of whom had not been back for a lot of years.
Those who came had happy memories of the people and buildings. Messages were received from lots of other people who all said "long may the Church continue", that is the reason we chose the theme of 'Heritage & Mission – Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow', while it is wonderful remembering our past, celebrating the here and now, but looking to the future – continuing to be a beacon and a place where people can meet with God.
