"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength." secondly "Love your neighbour as yourself" There is no commandment greater than these.'' (Mark 12:30-31)
Hurworth Methodists are currently a small congregation meeting in a small Chapel in a small village. Those who meet here have a huge heart for God and for living out these words of Jesus and have converted our Chapel into a welcoming community cafe.
In addition to our usual 10am worship on Sunday mornings, the Mustard Tree cafe provides a vital service and meeting place for residents of Hurworth and beyond. We pursue the creation of a community that cares for one another — a place where everyone can find a home and the resources to support mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
If you would like to come and worship with us here at Hurworth our physical doors are open.
The Mustard Tree: Mon – Friday 9am -3pm
Saturday 9am – 1pm
Sunday Worship 10am – 11am
We hope to see you soon.
