Janet and I left Darlo' in 2010 and after, 8 years as superintendent of the Burnley and Pendle Circuit, we retired to Catterick Village in 2018, mainly to be within reach of our children / grandchildren in Newcastle and Huddersfield.

'Retired', I hear you say! Well, not for long! We continue to be involved in our local church at Brompton on Swale but are glad to help out with preaching and priority pastoral care at Elm Ridge alongside Roy Burley and John Howard, filling the gap until August 2025.

We trust that this will not be just marking time or keeping stuff running from the Circuit's point of view but some steps forward in mission.
