We continue to be a busy Church centre since opening in 1903 in the north end of the town. Lowson Street is just off North Road between the White Horse Hotel and Thompson Street junction near the pedestrian crossing and McColl's convenience store. There's a regular bus service from the town centre and adequate street parking nearby.

We have extensive ancillary premises hosting a multitude of church based, community and social groups, there are many groups meeting here during the week. We have a lively lady's group that meets alternatively with a Craft Group on Thursday evenings; a Tuesday banner making group and lots of social events for all ages, abilities and religious beliefs or none.

Coffee mornings take place on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month from 10.00am to11.30am. On the 3rd Saturday we call it our Birthday Coffee Morning when we celebrate with those born during that month with cake, candles and a table quiz. Watch out for publicity about our extra fund-raising events such as concerts and seasonal fayres.

We host young peoples'uniformed organisations on Friday evenings -- Beavers, Cubs, Scouts andExplorer Scouts on Tuesday evenings. The Well Methodist Church Brigade groups join us for quarterly parade services. There is also a busy Pre-school that runs Monday to Friday; a dancing class on two evenings a week, a GA group and weekly Northern Voices rehearsals.

The U3A Hand-bell group have recently transferred from Bondgate and meet each Monday morning from 10.30 to11.30. They are keen to attract new members.

We also hire out our ancillary premises for parties and special occasions.

We are part of the Churches Together in North Darlington group that arrange ecumenical worship, Lent Bible studies with lunches, fellowship meals and outings with friends from St ThomasAquinas RC and St Mark's Anglican and other churches in the area.

Our premises are fully accessible throughout the building and a warm welcome awaits all those that join us for Sunday worship or at any of the other activities that you may find interesting.
